Terms of Use
Last updated: 24 July 2026
1. License
Cancly is free software distributed under the MIT License. You may use, copy, and redistribute it for personal or commercial purposes at no cost.
2. No warranty
Cancly is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the authors are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the software. Amounts, dates and totals shown are based on the data you enter and are for your own planning — always verify charges with your bank or the service provider.
3. Your responsibility
Cancly helps you keep track of subscriptions but does not cancel them for you. Cancelling a subscription is done by you on the relevant service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter.
4. Third-party names, logos and trademarks
All service names, company names, logos, icons and trademarks shown in the app or on this site are the property of their respective owners. They are used purely descriptively — to help you recognise your own subscriptions — and never to suggest that Cancly is affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or partnered with any of those companies.
Service logos are not bundled with or redistributed by Cancly. They are fetched on demand from a third-party icon service (DuckDuckGo) and cached locally on your own device; that service is operated independently of Cancly, is subject to its own terms, and may be unavailable or change at any time — in which case Cancly falls back to a generic icon. Automatic logo downloads can be turned off in Settings, which stops any trademarked icon from being fetched or shown.
5. Changes
These terms may be updated over time; the date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the software constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
